Filters and accessories

On this page you will find the filters and accessories that belong to our water purification systems. At the bottom of the page you will find the types and what they purify. Such a filter can purify sediment and sand, for example, but there are also filters that purify chemical substances and completely different things. Our systems contain standard filters that are the most common, but sometimes you have a lot of a certain substance in the water, so it is better to purchase a filter (made for this purpose) and replace a standard filter in the system.

In addition to the filters, you will also find accessories here. Such as a pre-filter, which is essential if you purify anything but tap water, but also UV lamps, the power source and more!

In short, which filters are there and what can they filter. Below is a list, but first it is useful to explain what 1, 5 and 20 microns mean. This has to do with the size of the particles. Sometimes there are filters that have standard 5, but some also have 1, 5 and 20 (such as a PP filter, so this concerns 3 different filters). 1 micorn means very small particles and 20 micorn means slightly less very small particles. The lower the number, the smaller particles the filter can purify. If there is a lot of sediment in your water (PP purifies this), it is therefore useful to use at least the 20 micron and perhaps (if possible) also the 5 or 1 micron.

Types of filters and their function:

- PP filters: removed sediment, rust, scale and sand.
- CTO filters: remove chlorine, bad taste and smell, but also pesticides, chemicals and cysts.
- GAC filters: remove chlorine and a bad smell / taste (this is especially for the bad smells).
- KDF filters: removed chlorine, bad taste, bad smell, heavy metals and organic impurities (so this is ''special'' for heavy metals and organic impurities, purifying the bad taste and air are side effects).
- Demineralization filters: removed Ions (too much Ions results in chemical reactions and ''hard'' water).
- Manganese filters: removes manganese (manganese causes a brown color and a bad metallic taste).
